Congressman Denver Riggleman joined Majority Whip Steve Scalise and other lawmakers on Whip Scalise's annual offshore energy tour. Whip Scalise arranges a tour each year to expose lawmakers to Louisiana's offshore energy industry and educate them on its positive impact on our Nation's economy.

"Louisiana has cracked some nuts that we haven't in Virginia," said Congressman Riggleman. "The engineering expertise, the environmental consciousness, everything they've done on these rigs we've got to learn that. So hopefully I can take these ideas on revenue sharing and coastal restorations and take those lessons back to Virginia."
